Sectek Inc. · Case study
Operator tooling & logistics systems
Operating modelSupporting ISO 27001 readiness
Outcome
Runs Security Operations Center (S.O.C.) operations, ATF compliance, field reporting and device and inventory systems.
The brief
Sectek work sits in FAA-supporting / federal operational environments. Designing systems operators can run: logistics progressing into SOC leadership, field tooling, inventory discipline, and compliance pursuit.
My role
S.O.C. & Logistics Manager (McLean). Progression from logistics into SOC leadership. Ownership spans remote inspection schedules, SOPs, ISO 27001 pursuit, MaaS360 lifecycle, custom multi-platform field activity & incident reporting, and inventory barcoding.
Process
- Diagnose operational friction — Where schedules, reporting, and inventory broke down for people in the field
- Design tools operators will actually use — Multi-platform field activity and incident reporting shaped around real workflows

Designed and built by Scott with Claude; deployed to field phones via Azure and IBM MaaS360. Shown with test data.
- Make inventory and device lifecycle visible — Barcoding and MaaS360 practices that reduce ambiguity
- Codify what must repeat — SOPs and inspection schedules that survive staff changes
- Pursue compliance as system design — ISO 27001 as operating discipline, not paperwork theater

Outcome
Building remote inspection schedules, SOPs, ISO 27001 pursuit, and field tooling that make complex logistics and SOC work clearer for everyone involved.
